Table in the manner of the Battista table by Pucci de Rossi. Dynamic interlocking shapes forged from metal form the base in which a plane of glass neatly slides into, becoming one with the side table. Italian-born, Paris-based Pucci De Rossi (1947-2013) trained under the watchful eye of American sculptor H.B. Walker. Rossi had both striking aesthetics and functionality at the forefront of his mind when designing. Creating works across a range of mediums, jewellery, furniture, sculpture and painting, his works blurred the lines between art and design. Table top heigh H60cm. The base is in good condition with a lovely patina and oxidisation to the surface. The glass top is in vintage condition with signs of wear through scratches and minor chips but remains structurally sound. Glass top can be replaced upon request. This piece is not signed, so authenticity is not verified.
