Basic.Space is a curated IRL-to-URL shopping experience for design, art, and fashion. It brings together an online marketplace with tentpole events and members-only experiences throughout the year, championing emerging talent alongside established names and connecting the next generation of collectors with what’s new, what’s next, and what’s timeless.

How can I start shopping?

Create an account, download the app to receive $30 Basic.Cash, and start shopping. The more you browse, follow sellers and like products, the better our smart shopping experience understands your taste. Look out for the “For You” recommendations in-app or on our homepage to shop your personal curation.

Will my personal details stay safe?

We keep your personal information private and confidential and won’t give it out unless we have your consent or are legally permitted to! For more info, please see our Privacy Policy .

How does the app work?

The Basic.Space app makes it easy to discover, explore, and shop from anywhere. Simply download the app for quick access to the marketplace, browse available products, save your favorites, and shop directly through the app.

The app is also an important part of the Basic.Space event experience. Guests are encouraged to use the app during events to seamlessly confirm their RSVP or ticket, check in at the door, discover pieces, access product information, and complete purchases directly from their mobile device.

How does Basic.Cash work?

Basic.Cash is a rewards program that allows you to earn credit and redeem it toward future purchases at checkout.

When placing an order, you may see a temporary authorization hold on your payment method for the full order amount. This is a standard process, but you will only be charged the final amount displayed at checkout after any applicable Basic.Cash credits have been applied.

How can I see your list of sellers?

You can see our full list of sellers by navigating to “Sellers” through the app or through the website.

Are your items authentic?

Absolutely. We work exclusively with trusted sellers and take authenticity seriously.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Discover, Diners Club, and Apple Pay.

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship to most locations worldwide. Some international destinations may be excluded due to shipping restrictions, carrier limitations, or regulatory requirements.

If you have questions about shipping availability to a specific location, please reach out to our team and we’ll be happy to assist.

Do you charge a shipping fee?

Shipping costs are determined based on the item, shipping method, and final destination.

Standard shipping is complimentary for most domestic small-item orders over $150. For domestic Quick Ship items, applicable shipping fees will be calculated and added at checkout.

For larger items requiring custom shipping quotes or white glove delivery, our logistics team will reach out after your order is placed to provide a quote and coordinate all shipping details.

I just placed my order! How long until I receive it and how can I track delivery?

Once your order is placed, processing can take up to 2 business days. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

You can also track your order anytime through the Basic.Space app by navigating to the “Orders” section.

Delivery times vary based on location and shipping method. Domestic orders typically arrive within 5–7 business days after shipment. International orders may take up to 2 weeks due to customs processing and clearance requirements.

How can I change my shipping address?

You can update your default shipping address anytime through your Basic.Space profile on both the app and website.

During checkout, you will also have the option to review and update your shipping address before completing your order. Please ensure your shipping information is accurate before placing your order, as changes may not be possible once an order has been submitted.

Will I need to pay taxes or duties?

US Customers — If your state is not exempt from taxation, your purchase may be subject to applicable sales or use tax. For more information regarding your local tax requirements, please contact your state or local tax authority.

International Customers — International orders are shipped Delivered At Place (DAP), meaning import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the purchase price. Any applicable charges will be collected by the shipping carrier (typically FedEx) upon delivery and are the responsibility of the recipient.

When your package arrives in your country, the shipping carrier will contact you with instructions for payment of any required duties, taxes, or customs fees.

Please note that Basic.Space is currently unable to ship to the following locations due to shipping restrictions and regulations: Antarctica, Bouvet Island, British Indian Ocean Territory, French Southern Territories, Heard & McDonald Islands, North Korea, Netherlands Antilles, Pitcairn, Somalia, Svalbard & Jan Mayen Islands, Syria, Western Sahara, and Yugoslavia/Kosovo.

What are the Basic.Space in-person events?

Basic.Space hosts invite-only tentpole events around the world to showcase and celebrate our designers, artists, and brands. Bringing together our global network of buyers and sellers for one weekend only, guests can access exclusive curations, discover new tastemakers, and connect directly with our club of creatives.

For sellers, these events are a chance to reach new audiences and meet collectors in person.

Participation is by invitation only. If you’d like to be considered for future events, email sellers@basic.space to be added to our list.

How can I become a seller?

Basic.Space is a highly selective marketplace featuring designers, artists, brands, and galleries from around the world. While we maintain a discerning collection of sellers, we welcome applications from anyone interested in joining the platform. Every application is thoughtfully reviewed by our team.

To apply, please email sellers@basic.space with information about your brand, products, and any relevant materials. Our team will review your submission and reach out if we believe there’s a good fit. We prioritize new or exclusive collections on the platform.

What can I expect as a Seller?

As a Basic.Space seller, you become part of a club of designers, artists, brands, and galleries helping shape the future of how creativity, design, and culture are discovered, experienced, and shared.

You’ll gain access to a global audience of discerning collectors, designers, and clients, while working closely with the Basic.Space team to ensure your brand and products are represented in the best possible way across our marketplace.

Sellers may also benefit from opportunities for additional visibility through Basic.Space marketing initiatives, including social media features, editorial content, and promotional campaigns designed to showcase our seller community and highlight exceptional work.

As part of our seller community, you may also be considered for invitations to participate in Basic.Space-hosted events around the world, providing additional opportunities to showcase your work, connect with new audiences, and grow your business.

What are my responsibilities as a seller?

Sellers are expected to work closely with the Basic.Space team to maintain accurate product information, provide timely responses to order-related communications, fulfill orders within required timelines, and work alongside the Basic.Space team to help ensure the best possible customer experience.

How do I get paid?

Basic.Space operates on a commission-based model. Commission rates are determined on a case-by-case basis between Basic.Space and each seller, taking into consideration the unique needs and structure of the partnership.

Once a sale is completed, sellers are paid through their Basic.Space seller dashboard according to the agreed-upon commission terms.
