This chair is part of the SORI YANAGI DESIGN BLACK COLLECTION, a special edition line of Yanagi’s furniture, produced by Tendo Mokko. In this collection, existing designs are reinterpreted in a black finish that accentuates the wood grain and gives the pieces a more modern, unified aesthetic. Because black editions often have limited runs and are made for special retail or promotional programs, they can be more rare and collectible than standard wood finishes.
