A glass vase hand blown from broken window and bottle glass melted down and repurposed using old engine as fuel. This is a colourless vase with a beautiful pale blue hue due to the nature of the recycled material. This piece's sculptural form reflects a conceptual, theme-based approach, which stands in stark contrast to the classical rules of decoration that pervade traditional glass. The flowing contours of the piece reference the way drapery has been used by painters to convey movement since the Renaissance.

Completedworks
Completedworks documents the beauty and complexity of the everyday through the practice of jewellery and ceramics. Working primarily from recycled materials, the brand's signature pieces gently roll against the tide of convention - using sculptural forms that weave, loop, twist, flow, enfold and expand to explore broader questions about the human condition and trade blows with history, politics and the language of art.
