Dimensional resin pin brooch taking the form of the Narcissus Jonquilla flower, symbolizing the flourishing of individual identity and alluding to the dangers of self-obsession presented in the Greek myth of Narcissus.
Cast from an original mould which yields 10-12 reproductions before being destroyed and a new mould must be cast. Each breastpin is handpainted and contains 15+ layers of color, requiring 12-15 hours of work to complete. The unit number from its casting series is marked on each pin. Varnished in acrylic. Back inscription reads: ‘I am I am I’ from W.B.Yeats’ “He and She”

Joshua Solomon
Joshua Solomon is a menswear and accessories designer from California. Trained classically as a sculptor and painter in ateliers in both Paris and Florence, followed by apprenticeships in ceramic studios in Sicily and Tuscany, his work reflects both an acutely emotional and neoclassical aesthetic sensibility while insisting on practical function. Having presented his first menswear collection in January of 2026, his small accessories and breastpins are wearable manifestations of the feelings innate to aspiration.
