Sand-cast in aluminum from car rims salvaged out of the Los Angeles industrial belt using traditional foundry techniques. The grain of the mold and the character of each pour are preserved in the finished piece, making each one unique. The frame opens outward in a petal silhouette with a drop-shaped leather seat at the center.
