Steidl/MACK, 2010 Collier Schorr has worked in Southern Germany for more than a decade on Forests and Fields, a fictional documentary portrait of a small town inhabited by historical apparitions. In Blumen, Schorr moves away from portraiture toward arrangements of objects within the landscapes and domestic or commercial settings of the town. Flowers, signage, plums, chairs and plaster fawns become the protagonists of this installment in the ongoing artist-book series.
