The Braun T1000, and its successor the T1000 CD (distinguished by its leather handle, rounded tuning knobs, and rear lettering), represents one of Braun's most significant contributions to world band receivers. Designed by Dieter Rams, it became particularly popular among German diplomatic corps, explaining the CD designation. The T1000's design, introduced in the mid-1960s, set a precedent with its distinctive large dial and turret tuner – elements that would later influence Grundig and Nordmende receivers. This design philosophy would eventually inspire Japanese and Korean manufacturers.

LifeisaSims presents 10 Principles
It all started at a computer lab in South Pasadena in 2009; a lost flash drive, a shared shift, then a lifetime of memories, jokingly so unreal that it can only be a simulation. For the past 15 years, we have had the privilege of creating within the worlds of gaming, automotive, advertising, and space travel. Our journey includes a passion for vintage collectibles and iconic products of the past, namely Braun, Hasselblad, BMW. As we traded physical items in for screens, the design of complex mechanical items have become a dying art, appreciated, but not understood. Our goal is to make these products more accessible to others through events, education, and recreations.
