Made from a single piece of forged iron, this robust dining table has a purity of construction typical of Angelo Mangiarotti. A round tempered glass top sits on the graphic metal base, which is splayed as if in bloom.
Architect and industrial designer Mangiarotti (1921-2012) was guided by the belief that developing a form could only follow careful interrogation of a material. His Longobardo design followed Eros, a series of tables in Carrara marble and stone that rely on gravity joints.
The base has a lovely textured patinated finish. The glass has a few surface scratches and can be replaced upon request.

Béton Brut
Béton Brut presents rare, design-led furniture from Europe and Japan. The collection, drawn from over a century of design, coheres around functional art & sculptural forms. Béton Brut comes from the concrete finish used in modernist architecture. It is rational yet organic, just like the collection.
